Where strategy meets design. This section brings together past email messaging, campaign ideas, and mockups. Each campaign highlights how I think through the flow, the visuals, and the message so everything works together and feels simple for the end user.

email messaging

I create email messaging built around strong visuals, since most people scroll before they read. Clear graphics and short, sharp titles helped drive more site traffic and kept customers engaged.

Existing campaigns

I was tasked with sending out one mass email each month with a social post to match. Since they only went out once a month, I focused on making them unique and visually interesting so they would land well and stick.

Each campaign shared new, helpful info for anyone who isn't familiar with the world of wood veneer.

Campaign ideas and mockups

I spent time developing campaign ideas that could run as short series over a few weeks, and I also created standard messaging for both new and existing customers.

Veneer 101

Veneer 101 was an idea for a weekly series that would run for a month and aimed to give architects and designers a simple and useful look at the world of wood veneer.​

I leaned on strong visuals to keep people interested, since wood veneer isn't exactly the topic folks race to read about. Each campaign was linked to resource material on our website.

Goal:

  • Educate architects and designers about all the nuances of wood veneer.

  • Make it clear and worth the scroll.

These are single-focus and occasionally recurring campaign ideas meant to push product. 

Goal:

  • Let customers know we have limited stock left of a log

  • Give repeat customers priority of a newly acquired log so they get first pick

Priority preview messaging is there to make repeat customers feel seen and valued by giving them first dibs on something unique or highly sought after.

Limited stock emails highlight high quality or unique logs that haven't moved for a while, creating awareness and a little buzz.

Messaging

Goal:

  • Create standard messaging for customers who subscribe to our emails

These mockups show three ideas for standard messaging:

A welcome email, an introduction to who we are and what we do, and an email prompting customers to start selecting veneer while highlighting how we make the process easy and straightforward.
